Inspecting live production shouldn't require complicated controls or unnecessary press interruptions.

Rapid Vision combines a high-speed camera transport with an intuitive touchscreen interface that works much like the technology operators already use every day.

Drag to navigate. Pinch to zoom. Move rapidly to another area of the web. Save frequently inspected positions and return to them instantly.

The result is a powerful inspection system that feels remarkably simple to use.

Built for Production. Designed for Simplicity.

Sophisticated inspection technology shouldn't mean delicate equipment, complicated installation or difficult maintenance.

Rapid Vision combines rugged industrial construction with a modular architecture designed for long service life, straightforward installation and easy expansion.

Rugged by Design

An IP-60 sealed camera, hard-steel guide rails and wheels, and no moving components inside the camera help make Rapid Vision ready for demanding production environments.

Built for the Long Run

Long-life LED illumination is designed for more than 20 years of continuous 24/7 operation, while a proven Sony image sensor provides reliable imaging technology.

Straightforward Installation

Low-voltage electrical connections use standard Ethernet cabling. GMI adjustable mounting brackets provide precise positioning, while customers with capable maintenance departments may be able to self-install with remote technical support.

Configure It Around Your Press

Rapid Vision's modular design lets you build the system around your production requirements:

  • Single Camera — High-speed viewing and inspection of one surface.

  • Two Cameras — Inspect both sides of the web with synchronized front-to-back comparison.

  • Additional User Stations — Add touchscreen control and viewing from multiple locations.

  • 65-inch Enlarged Display — Provide greater visibility from across the production floor.

  • Precision Mounting Brackets — Fine-tune camera position, angle, focus and alignment.

  • Digital Encoder — Add or upgrade the positioning signal supplied to the Rapid Vision cameras.

The modular architecture also simplifies expansion and component replacement, with GMI reporting standard new-system lead times of less than one week.

See What Your Operators Have Been Missing

Every press and production environment is different.

Grafix World can help evaluate your press configuration, web width, inspection requirements and production goals to determine the appropriate Rapid Vision configuration for your operation.

Whether you're looking for better visibility during production, easier inspection of critical print areas, or synchronized viewing of both sides of the web, we'll help you determine how Rapid Vision fits into your workflow.

Keep the press moving. Keep quality in sight.
