ColorLogic Announces the Release of CoPrA 9
ColorLogic GmbH, a subsidiary of Hybrid Software Group, has released its latest profiling solution CoPrA 9, a control center for ICC color profiling in any color space. The redesigned Update Profile tool has been simplified and optimized. Adapting profiles due to different ink, media, or temperature is effortless. Additionally, the profile reports now contain helpful and detailed information about the improvements that can be achieved using the updated profiles, making a profile update as straightforward as possible.
“The new CoPrA 9 contains many new features and improvements of all modules. Major changes are supported ink-splitting, 3D-view, and profile updating,” states Thorsten Braun, Technical Director of ColorLogic GmbH. “The profiling engine goes beyond standard applications and supports custom cases as well.”

ColorLogic GmbH Releases ZePrA 10 5 May 2022
RHEINE, GERMANY — ColorLogic GmbH, a subsidiary of Hybrid Software Group, releases ZePrA 10, the smart color server that optimizes and automates printing data. This is the anticipated sequel to the 2021 Pinnacle Product Award winner, ZePrA 9 Smart Color Server. Among the most important innovations are the improved and expanded automation options. The Command Line Interface (CLI) has been significantly improved and given more flexibility with the addition of ZePrA Job Control Files. With the Job Control Files almost every function in ZePrA can be controlled remotely without the need to intervene in ZePrA’s user interface.​

ColorLogic responds to its customers’ requests with a more flexible and faster creation of configurations by adding the Use an existing Configuration as Template option in the Auto Setup mode. THE BAN OF FLUORESCENT LAMPS
AND THE CONSEQUENCES

In February 2022, the EU Commission published new RoHS directives that restrict the use of hazardous and harmful substances in electrical and electronic equipment. These restrictions also apply to fluorescent lamps which contain mercury.
​
This ban has implications for many industries, especially those where proofing with standardized light is essential for color matching and quality testing.
